This years Carnival Parade will be held on Saturday 25th July 2009. Following a successful Carnival event last year we are hoping to present a spectacular event for 2009 with more surprises in store.

The parade will leave Sidney Park at 4-30pm It is important that your entry, personnel and vehicle are in their position ready by 3-30pm ready to leave by 4p.m. at the latest. This may seem early but the town will be extremely busy and with the road closures around Brereton Ave. and Grimsby road and then for the parade, traffic movement will be difficult. You can position your entry from 9.00 a.m on Saturday July 25th 2009

On arrival all parade traffic must enter the Sidney park from Brereton Ave entrance. Stewards will park your entry on arrival. The flow of the parade will leave Sidney park and head into Ward Street and then turn on to Grimsby road. Please ensure that drivers and other participants are aware of the entry point. Pedestrian groups, bands and walking groups linked to articulated vehicles can walk in via Queen Mary Ave. Ellison Street, and Park View. Pedestrians will not be allowed to enter through the vehicle access

Our meeting for all parade participants will be on July 20th at 6.30 pm in the Memorial Hall Cleethorpes. A representative from each entry must attend this meeting. Further details regarding the event and the collecting tins for the collection will be given out at the meeting.

Please ensure that copies of the order of events are passed to your driver or anyone else who will have responsibility for your entry on the day.
